- The PV340. This is a small (25 cm diameter) ProVect programmable tracking device fitted with a standard mobile SIM card which is able to detach from its home network, survey network data from all networks in its vicinity, select the optimal networks and return the surveyed data for processing into location data using the SIM home network via SMS or GPRS. The PV340 does not use GPS and so is small, has a very long battery life and can be programmed to report positions in a number of useful ways. The PV340 works in-doors or under cover. Tracking devices may be attached to a variety of assets which are to be tracked/located.
- The PV203. This is a small combined GPS and ProVect programmable tracking device fitted with a standard mobile SIM card. This device moves seamlessly between providing standard GPS based locating and providing ProVect based non-GPS positioning. The device returns GPS data and/or the surveyed data for processing into location data using the SIM home network via SMS or GPRS. The PV203 can be programmed to report positions in a number of useful ways. The PV203 uses mobile network data from the SIM home network only. Tracking devices may be attached to a variety of assets which are to be tracked/located.
- ProVect mobile phone applets. These are Java or C based software applets which can be installed on mobile handset running the Windows Mobile, Symbian or RIM operating systems. Handsets with ProVect installed can be located via a specific encoded SMS message. Just as with ProVect devices the network is surveyed and the data returned processed into latitude and longitude coordinates. ProVect mobile phone applets may be installed in any handset which is required to be tracked/located.
