Trackar tracking platforms

  • Web based platform. In this variant the user may access a web account via the Internet. The platform may be hosted by a tracking service provider or owner operated by a user organization. The system allows the user to register devices and/or mobile handsets with ProVect applets installed. Additional web-pages allow the user to discover a device or handset’s current location or view the movement history of the device or handset.  A variety of popular web-based mapping systems are used to display the location or tracking history of devices/handsets.
  • Client-server platform. Some user organizations prefer not to utilise 3rd party tracking service organisations which normally provide services via a web platform. The client-server platform allows the user organisation to manage tracked devices attached to assets and/or handsets and maintain control jn-house. It is, however, also possible to operate a web-platform in-house. The client-server platform provides the same ability to manage, locate and track devices and/or handsets.
  • Standalone platform. A single user variant of the client-server platform which enables the management of tracked devices and/or handsets on a laptop. This in turn permits the implementation of vehicle based tracking systems in the field.
  • ELBS. Enhanced Location Based Services is an upscaled and highly enlarged Trakcar platform installed and run on powerful high up-time servers and providing web-based locating services for very large numbers of handset subscribers. This wholly software-based solution offers clear advantages over more expensive, complex and infrastructure-based network-wide locating sytems as for “LBS”. This Delma solution also holds-out great potential when deployed network-wide as a powerful anti-terrorist and anti-crime tool.
